After always been into all kind of exercise I took the opportunity to develop my knowledge in personal training and sport massage when moving to Geneva. I quickly felt the training missed something: Pilates. The base of all training, to build up that strength in a gentle way.  

I know firsthand what it means to live with pain, having suffered from back pain for years. Practicing Pilates regularly allows me to go about my life entirely pain-free.

What conscious and targeted movement can do to your physique and self-confidence seems to be limitless. I have realized that we have so much more power to heal ourselves from within if we just decide to dedicate ourselves to learning and mastering the method.

Pilates has helped me so much & I am so passionate in offering the same to others who are interested in wether improving their quality of life or just having a fun class to come to every week.

It’s one of the few training formats that REALLY WORK !

Group

Weekly circuit classes combining reformer and mat work.

A high-quality small group training focusing on the needs of the collective with a personal touch.

I like to keep my groups small to be able to offer a high-quality training experience where I can give personal attention to each participant. We train on and off mats with various training props to challenge you and give you an in-depth approach to each exercise.

Private

Private one-on-one classes are great as they are designed to follow your unique fitness needs & personal goals. This is an in-depth approach to tailored fitness for fastest results.

Our sessions involve a series of exercises performed on specialised Pilates apparatus such as the reformer and on mat to enhance the movements in a variety of positions.

Duo/Twin

Prefer working out with a friend or partner?

Are you most motivated working out with a friend or your partner? These are sessions for 2 people. Spend 55 minutes on the mat and the machine together.

Whatever your reason for practicing with me, sometimes having a workout buddy gives you that extra support and motivation to follow through and stay motivated. As we know, results happen for those who stick with it!

Outdoor Pilates and Bootcamp by the Lake.

I have been running a Bootcamp the last five years in Coppet. An early outdoor morning session which times dropping kids off for school first! This is a group of energetic ladies who schedules this time in just for themselves. It’s a high energy class from the first minute to the last with a mix of cardio and body strength workout. The teamwork spirit is always there!

As soon as the weather is sunny and warm enough to start the morning with an outdoor  Pilates class we’ll meet at Rocaille/Coppet. As well as traditional Pilates we also focus on breathing and stretching our muscles a bit extra.

We have something for everybody, whether you prefer the indoor studio environment or if you like to mix it up with being out in the fresh air.

Whatever your body asks for, we are here to provide a variety of training experiences.

Some people like the indoor classes and some like to mix it up with being outdoors.

    Health Benefits of Pilates

    Improves Posture

    Pilates focuses on the alignment of the full body, muscle balance and complete range of motion at thejoints. The exercises bring awareness to the body alignment and strengthen the postural muscles around the joints to improve posture.

    Strengthens Core

    Pilates heavily emphasizes and strengthens the body’s centre (core), where all the movement stemsfrom. The core muscles are the deep muscles of the abdomen and back, and increased core strength will result in reduced back and hip pain and dysfunction of the pelvic  oor.

    Tones Muscles

    This form of exercise engages normally neglected muscle groups and will result in toned muscles if youdo it constantly. This is good for people with sedentary lifestyles and old people who lose some muscle tone. Additionally, they also help to reduce muscle tension and joint sti ness.

    Prevents Injury

    Pilates is known for  uid movements that ensure the body muscles are balanced to prevent injury. This form of exercise focuses on building dynamic strength to stabilise the joints during movement.

    Reduces Back Pain

    Because Pilates targets the core, which is made up of the abdominal muscles and the pelvic  oor, it can help to decrease back pain. This is because it helps stabilise the back and improve body posture.

    FAQ

    Is Pilates suitable for everyone ?
    Yes, each class is costumised after everyones need.
    Is it risky to do sports like Pilates if I have an injury ?
    Please let me know of any health problems or injuries, lower back pain, shoulder pain etc. I can then plan the session after each client need.
    What to wear ?
    Non slippery socks is preferable but not a most. Indoor classes are carried out without shoes.
    Do you offer classes in home environment ?
    Yes, it's possible to have classes at your home if preferred. Or other places as outside or in your office. Happy to come to you !
    Do you offer virtual classes ?

    Yes, I do. If you’re for example is travelling because for work or holiday, we can arrange an online session for when it suits you best.

    Can I attend a class without an appointment ?
    All group classes/duo/private classes can be booked through Founex sante physio webbpage: www.physiosantefounex.agenda.ch To cancel a booking, you must notify me 24 hours before the class. Cancellation made with less then 24hours notice will incur the full cost of the class booked. Class bookings can be cancelled in the online booking system and choosing to unreserve the class you wish to cancel, or by sending me a e-mail or message
